Teryn Elizabeth
It’s time for another spotlight and there is no better way to celebrate the end of this week than by highlighting one of my BFFs who I couldn’t survive without, and that is Teryn Elizabeth Bond.
Meet Teryn!
Teryn is an artist, dog mom to Biscuit and Gravy, wife, interior decorator/renovator, and she is doing big things in her career #soproud. I met Teryn while she was working at Furbish, a store I frequented when it had a brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Raleigh. I laugh that I don’t remember if I met her in person first or per the Instagram of it all found her there and loved her style, even back in 2013-ish 🙃. Anyways, over the next few years, we crossed paths twice at two different agencies and I still remember her in that second interview and I was like why are we doing this? She’s in. She was one of my lifelines at work and is even more so now. I am forever jealous of her ability to make decisions quickly and know what she wants. I have loved being able to go to her art shows over the years, watch as she renovates her house with her husband (shout out to Joe, you’re awesome too), catch up at two of the only places I eat at downtown and appreciate that she hasn’t disowned me at the numerous snaps/Instagram posts I send to her daily.
Canvas & Paper Paintings
Teryn’s work is on both canvas and paper, both of which I have snagged over the years (as well as a few prints, one of which is in my staircase gallery wall). She is always using different color palettes that shift with the seasons and is inspired by the outdoors, including all of that time spent at the beach. Her website has additional pieces to what I’ve included here, many that have been sold, but she posts various works on Instagram that are for sale and she also does commissions, so you should absolutely reach out and get a Teryn original.
Style 💯
Speaking of her style, these are shots of her paintings around her house and they are so good! The art and the decorating. She is a fellow decor/furniture rearranger, and it’s always so cool to see how her different pieces work in various spaces. Peep that art ledge in the kitchen that they just did too. I still can’t get over it. Additional photo of the kitchen below, because it still blows me away that they did all of the renovation work and it deserves to be recognized.
❤️
Below are a few shots of her work in my house currently, and from my days in the Devon. The second one is a little blurry, but so good.
All images that aren’t mine are from Teryn Elizabeth
Check her out on Instagram @terynelizabeth and support her by buying a painting and/or commission!
